Digital copy of the manuscript done by Microdata Systems in the microfilm center of the library that functions thanks to the Unesco Parsi Zoroastrian Project.

 One of the oldest Indian Sādeh manuscripts of Vīdēvdād, not collated by Geldner. Written in 1033 A.Y. (1664 A.D.).

 

Description in B. N. Dhabhar (1925), Descriptive catalogue of all manuscripts in the First Dastur Meherji Rana Library, Navsari, Commercial Printing Press of the Tata Publicity Corporation, Bombay, p. 126):

Colophon (f. 77): Written by Ervad Erach Dastur Khorshed Dastur Hoshang and completed on the day Hormazd, month Meher, 1033 A.Y.

Colophon (f. 435): Written in Navsari by Ervad Erach Dastur Khorshed Dastur Hoshang Sanjana and completed on the day Marespand, month Aban, 1033 A.Y.

Very strong bound in red leather covers; country-made paper; ff. 436, marked in Gujarati numerals, written 13 ll. to the page. All ritual indications in red ink. Nearly all the margins are newly re-adjusted with slips of paper. Presented by Ervad Rustomji Kershaspji Modi. 11.4” x 9.5”.
